Summary:
This successfully completed project in Lake Mary, Florida consisted
of the reroofing of the entire campus (212,000 square feet) with
a Three-Ply Built-Up Roof with Modified Bitumen Cap Sheet, installation
of raised expansion joint curbs, and redesign and installation of
electrical surge suppression system.
Also included was masonry
renovation work to adjacent brick walls to properly install through-wall
cavity flashing and counterflashing for the new roof membrane and
some renovation work to prefabricated metal wall panels. Non-functioning
rooftop power ventilation system units were repaired and restored
before being reinstalled over the new roof system and provided assistance
to Mechanical Engineer during installation of second chiller system.
The building remained
in continuous operation during design and construction.
