Project Summary:
The scope of work for this project included the reroofing design of 25,315 square feet of Mission S Clay Tile Roof.

The clay tile roof placed at the time of the original construction consisted of a relatively weak tile which was not able to sustain the foot traffic or even impact damage from golf balls. Over a period of time, the extent of damage became widespread to the point of being unsightly. The goal of the reproofing project was to remove the roof and install a clay tile roof which would be stronger and perform for a long period of time. As part of the improvements, certain flashing conditions and roof penetrations were repaired and installed at proper heights and in a manner that would properly coordinate with the new roof.

The new tile roof system was placed over a modified bitumen underlayment which will provide for a long service life. The flashing metal used was copper. The scope of work also included repairs to gutters, stucco, sidewall flashings, and kitchen equipment supports.
