Summary:
The scope of work provided for the reroofing of the entire roof area of 108,000
square feet consisting of 12 buildings and 7 walkways. The existing standing seam
metal roofs had failed after being in service for 11 years due to poor design and
installation. The original metal roofs were not repairable and total roof replacement
was required.
The initial work performed by A/R/C
included a multi-discipline investigative report to access damage and budget for the
necessary repairs. The final scope of work included roof replacement, cupola repair
and reglazing, structural repairs, mechanical repairs and renovations, exterior damage
repair and interior damage repair.
